Steps to make Suji tukri burfi (without sugar):
- In low medium flame roast suji for 10 mins or until nice Roasted aroma is coming. Then switch off the flame and keep the suji aside in a plate.
- Now heat ghee add crushed cardamom in that add khab or misri in that, add water and let the misri or khand get melted.
- When the water starts boiling and the syrup becomes little thickened add the roasted suji in this gradually and keep mixing to avoid lump formation.
- Now you can add any dry fruit of your choice (I have added cashew). Keep cooking the suji in low flame until a dough formed
- Then immediately transfer the suji mixture in a ghee greased and wheat flour dusted plate evenly.
- After 45 mins cut in desired shapes with a knife.
