  6. Place one dough on a well floured work surface and roll the dough flat. Use cookie cutters of your choice to make shapes and then place the cookies on the baking tray.
  7. Bake for 5-10 minutes depending on size. You will know they are cooked when they have turned slightly golden on the edges. I tested baking half of the batch in the air fryer and it took around 5 minutes.
  8. Rinse and repeat for the second dough. Make sure to bake in batches and leave room between each cookie on the baking tray.
  9. Transfer onto a wire rack and let them cool completely. Leave plain or decorate with royal icing/ dust with icing sugar (optional). We had ours with some hot chocolate and marshmallows 😋
