  1. Dry roast the makhana on low medium flame for 5 to 8 minutes.
  2. Switch off the gas. Keep it aside. In same pan add oil. Then add turmeric powder,red chilli powder, rock salt, chat masala. Mix well.
  3. Add makhana and mix all ingredients together well. Switch on the gas and roast it for 2 to 3 minutes on low medium flame. Stir continuously otherwise masala might be burn.
  4. Namkin makhana is ready to serve. Once it cool down store it in air tight container.
