Steps to make Paneer matar makhana:
  1. Heat 2 tbsp ghee in pan,add chopped onion, green chilli and saute till golden brown, add tomato, ginger garlic paste and saute well, add salt and mix well, cover and cook for 5 minutes. Set aside to cool slightly.
  2. Transfer the mixture into mixer jar and add 1/4 cup water and blend to a smooth paste.
  3. Heat remaining ghee in the same pan add cumin seeds and saute till their colour changes, add the paste, mix well, cover and cook for 5 mins, add red chilli, coriander, turmeric,cumin powder, mix well and saute for a few seconds. Add 3/4 cup water,mix and cook for a minute add boil green peas, cubes paneer, roasted makhana and mix well. Sprinkle garam masala, kasuri methi and fresh cream and mix well.
  4. Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot with paratha.
