Steps to make Matar makhana curry:
- Take a pan add oil in it then add the makhana and roast them for 4-5 minutes until they are light golden in color. Turn off instant pot. Take out makahan in a bowl and set aside for later.
- Now make a paste, take a mixer grinder to add cashews, onion, green chilli, ginger, garlic, and tomatoes, and make a fine paste.
- Boil the green peas in a pressure cooker.
- Now take a pan, add cumin seeds, add paste than all spices in it, close lid and saute for 10 mins for thin paste.
- Add green peas and makhana. Stir and saute for 4-5 minutes.
- Add the kasoori methi, cream or malai. Stir into the sauce.
- Garnish with cilantro and serve with roti, paratha or naan.
