  1. Get 1 Cup Makhanas
  2. Prepare 2 tbsp Peanuts

  6. Get 2 tbsp organic Jaggery / Shakar
  7. Prepare 1 glass water
  8. Make ready 1 tbsp ghee for frying

Instructions to make Makhana Ladoo:
  1. Take a pan and add 2 tbsp organic jaggery/ shakar in it put a glass of water and heat it on a medium flame stir continuously till the jaggery/ shakar dissolves completely. You have to make one string syrup. Keep checking for the consistency by taking the syrup between your two finger tips and check for one string consistency as shown in the pic.
  2. Let the jaggery/ shakar syrup cool. In the meantime in another pan add 1 tbsp ghee,when it melts to it add 1cup makhanas, 2 tbsp each of peanuts, almonds, cashews and sesame seeds and roast them for about a minute on medium flame. Switch off the gas and let it cool down.
  3. Now grind the roasted makhanas,peanuts, almonds, cashews and sesame seeds in a grinder and make a smooth powder of it.
  4. Take it out ib a bowl. Now to it add the jaggery/ shakar syrup to it and mix well and knead it into a soft dough.
  5. Now make small balls of the dough and then roll them in the dessicated coconut.
